Annpurna Base Camp Trek.

  • Day 1 Kathmandu Arrival.
    When you land at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will go through custom and visa formalities. As you exit from the Arrival Hall, you will find our representative waiting for you with placard in his hand. Look for your name in a placard. After receiving you, he will transfer you to the three-star category hotel. Get refreshed. Later, you will get briefing regarding the trip. Explore the surroundings. Have a comfortable stay.
  • Day 2 Sightseeing in Kathmandu.

    After breakfast, you will join for guided Kathmandu City Tour. Out of 10 UNESCO cultural sites in Nepal, 4 of them exist in Kathmandu alone making it the historical city. We will start the tour by visiting Pashupatinath Complex which is the most significant Hindu Temple in Nepal. Non- Hindus are not allowed an access in the main temple premises but you can still observe cremation ceremony at the bank of Bagmati River. You will also visit Bouddhanath which was listed in the world heritage site in 1979 A.D. This is also known as mini Tibet in Kathmandu. Next stop will be at Swoyambhunath which is the oldest Buddhist Stupa located at the top of the hill. Swoyambhunath is the oldest stupa that dates 2500 years back. Drive further to Kathmandu Durbar Square- the ancient Royal Palace. Hanumandhoka Museum, Kasthamandap Temple, KalBhairav Statue and House of Living Goddess are places of interest. Return to the hotel for a comfortable stay. In the afternoon, you can shop for any trekking equipment that you require.

  • Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

    We will meet at the Tourist Buspark in Kantipath early in the morning. Leaving Kathmandu, we will follow the meandering Prithvi Highway where we can enjoy scenic views of green hills, mountains and rivers. We can also witness Nepal’s first cable car carrying devotees to and from wish-fulfilling Manakamana Temple. Pokhara can be reached from Kathmandu in about 5hrs. Spend the free time on your own. In the evening, you will be taken to Phewa Lake where you can enjoy boating. Stay overnight in a hotel.

  • Day 4 Drive to Nayapul, Trek to Ulleri (2,070m).

    After taking tea, we will leave the hotel and take an hour-long drive to Nayapul. En route, we will pass through scenic Lumle village while we can also enjoy the view of Annapurna Mountain. Annapurna Base Camp Trek begins from Nyapul. The trail continues through Ramgai and Sumde villages. We will walk past Hile to Ulleri village where we will stay overnight.

  • Day 5 Trek to Ghorepani (2,850m).

    The trail from Ulleri onwards stretches through the forest. We will cross the rhododendron forest and arrive at Nangethati. Climbing further from Nangethati, we will reachDeurali. We will continue to follow the escalating path to Ghorepani village. Existing at the top of the ridge, Ghorepani greets us with breath-taking views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountain range. Stay overnight in Ghorepani.

  • Day 6 Trek to Poon Hill (3,210m) and to Tadapani (2,660m).

    From Ghorepani, we will take about 40minutes of walk to reach Poon hill which is named after Poon ethnics that inhabit in the village. Poon hill is popular for sunrise view over Annapurna. We can get panoramic views of Nilgiri Peak, Tukuche Peak and Annapurna Mountain from Poon Hill. We will descend to Ghorepani and take breakfast before walking further to Tadapani where we will stay overnight.

  • Day 7 Trek to Chhomrung (2,020m).

    We will lower down through rhododendron forest to reach Kimrong River. Walking past the tiny village of Gurjung, we will reach Chhomrong village. The path allows views of Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre and Hiunchuli Mountain. Chhomrong is the largest Gurung village in the region. Stay overnight at Chhomrong.

  • Day 8 Trek to Himalayan Hotel (2,920m).

    The trail for Himalayan Hotel continues through Chhomrong River. After lowering down to Chhomrong River, we will enter rhododendron forest. We will climb toSinuwa Hill that greets us with panoramic views of Annapurna Mountain Range. We will climb further to Upper Modi River Valley from where the trail lowers down through the bamboo forest to Dovan. We will climb briefly from Dovan to Himalaya Hotel where we will stay overnight.

  • Day 9 Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m).

    After taking breakfast at the Himalaya Hotel, we will follow the trail through the forest that allows views of the glacial river. We will walk alongHinku Cave from where the path drops down to the river. We will climb uphill from river to Deurali and walk further through boulders to Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Brief trek from Machhapuchhre Base Camp takes us to Annapurna Base Camp. We will enjoy the views of Annapurna South Mountain, HiunchuliPeak and other mountains. Stay overnight at Annapurna Base Camp.

  • Day 10 Trek to Bamboo (2,300m).

    Annapurna Base Camp allows close-up views of Annapurna I Mountain.

    After breakfast, we will retrace the route through Machhapuchhre Base Camp to reach Bamboo. The trail continues through moraine valley. We will cross rhododendron forest and make it to Bamboo for overnight stay.

  • Day 11 Trek to Jhinuwa (Hot Spring) (1,400m).

    Leaving Bamboo early in the morning, we will lower down toKuldighar. We will walk past Kuldighar to Sinuwa Hill. We need to climb Sinuwa Hill which greets us with views of fascinating mountains. The trail lowers down to Chhomrong River. We will continue to walk toChhmorong village. The trail lowers down further to Jhinuwa. There exists a natural hot spring near Jhinuwa which is believed to cure skin diseases.

  • Day 12 Trek to Pothana (1,900m).

    Leaving Jhinuwaearly in the morning, we will walk pastLandruk village. This village allows perfect opportunity to witness the local culture, traditions and ways of living. The whole route is scenic with mountain views. We will follow the easy trail all the way to Pothana. Stay overnight in Pothana.

  • Day 13 Trek to Pokhara (915m).

    We will follow the lowering path from Pothana and reach Dhampus village. Walking through the pretty Dhampus village, we will descend to Phedi. Annapurna Base Camp Trek ends at Phedi. We will drive from Phedi to Pokhara where we will stay in a hotel.

  • Day 14 Pokhara Sightseeing.

    Pokhara is a great place to explore. In fact, it is the only place from where you can get close-up views of 8000m+ mountains from mere 1000m above sea level altitude. Begin the tour with visit to Seti Gorge. Visit Davis Fall and K.I. Singh Bridge. Explore Gupteswor Cave and Mahendra Cave which is also known as Bat Cave. You can also visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp located near to Gupteswor Cave to understand their lifestyle. Enjoy close-up views of Annapurna, Fishtail and Dhaulagiri Mountain Range and return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

  • Day 15 Drive to Kathmandu.

    After taking lunch in Pokhara, we will follow Prithvi Highway back to Kathmandu from where you will be transferred to the hotel. Spend your free time as you like. Take rest or go for shopping in Thamel. Stay overnight in a hotel.

  • Day 16 Departure.

    You will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport three hours before your scheduled flight. Have a safe journey. We hope to see you soon.
