Chulu West Peak Climbing is a mountaineering venture to one of the most popular peaks in the Annapurna region. Chulu West Peak (6419m), also a part of the renowned Chulu ranges, is located north to the majestic Manang Village. The journey to its summit is not solely arduous climbs but grants bountiful interaction with the local culture as well. The Chulu West Peak Climbing traverses the Annapurna Conservation Area and Tibetan settlements to conclude with the breath-taking panorama of the Annapurna Himalayan ranges.


The journey commences ass you land at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. You follow with a sightseeing tour around the UNESCO world heritage sites and preparation for the peak climbing. A long drive on the Prithvi Highway takes you to the trailhead of the journey at Syange. A short trek to Jagat continues with another one to Dharapani. You slowly make way into Tibetan settlements which begin from Chame. Heading to Upper Pisang, the trek takes you deep into the Annapurna Conservation Area. Later, you tread through numerous ancient monasteries, prayer wheels, and Mani walls to reach Manang Village. From Manang, the trek heads to the Tilicho Base Camp where a day worth of exploration of Tilicho Lake awaits. Retracing your steps, you reach Khangsar Village and head north to Yak Kharka. You will then ascend to reach the Chulu West Base Camp. Continuing with a climb to the High Camp, the scaling of the Chulu West Peak (6,419m) guarantees enticing adventure. The panorama of the Himalayas in Annapurna, Nilgiri, Muktinath, and Thorung ranges greet you upon reaching the summit. Descending to Thorung Phedi, you cross the Thorung Pass (5,416m) on the next day. As you descend to one of the biggest pilgrimage sites for Hindus and Buddhists- Muktinath, you get ready for a trek to Jomsom. From Jomsom, a short flight will take you to Pokhara and conclude with a drive back too Kathmandu.
