Everest Base Camp Trek

Duration: 2 Nights 3 Days Based on 17 Reviews

Everest, at 8,848m the highest mountain on our planet, has fascinated adventure seekers from all over the world ever since it was first summited by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay in 1953. The Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek provides a wonderful opportunity to experience the landscape and culture of Khumbu and see not only Everest but also other stunning peaks in the region.

Manikang’s standard EBC Trek is 12 days from leaving/returning to Kathmandu. Two rest days are strategically placed in the itinerary to minimize the risk of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). However, the trek can be either lengthened, shortened or adapted after the prior discussion to cater to different fitness levels or individual interests.
