The Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek is one of those treks which needs little to no introduction at all. One of the iconic treks, it offers tantalizing experiences of travel while heading through the Annapurna Conservation Area and beneath the foothills of the Annapurna Himalayas. As the trek circuits the Annapurna massif, the trek also leads to the crystalline blue Tilicho Lake. Located at an altitude of (4,919m) Tilicho is one of the highest lakes in the world. The Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake even offers cultural undertaking in the Tibetan-Buddhist villages.

Heading out of Kathmandu, the journey takes us toward the hilly city of Besisahar beyond which lies Chame where we spend our first night on the go. The trekking officially kicks off as we make our way towards Pisang. Located at an altitude of (3,200m) Pisang gives us a lovely peek into the lovely land of the Himalayas. Reaching Manang the next day brings us our first day off acclimatization after which the journey swiftly heads over to Khangsar and then onto Tilicho Base Camp the next day. An early morning hike to Tilicho brings us face to face with its icy shores, sky blue water, and the Himalayas adorning its edges. Enjoying the pleasant views of the lake we begin our descending journey heading to Khangsar. Continuing to the summer settlement of Yak Kharka and then towards Thorung Phedi. Crossing the Thorang La Pass (5,416m) the next day, we head over to Muktinath. From the holy temple of Muktinath, the journey descends through the standard Annapurna Route crossing the stunning towns of Tukuche, Marpha, and then onto Tatopani where a lovely hot spring bath awaits us. Heading to Sikha the next day, we reach Ghorepani. From this Gurung village, we hike up to Poonhill to witness the stunning views of the sunrise over the Himalayas in the Annapurna region. The trek ends as we descend back to Ulleri and then onto Pokhara.
