Electricity & Charging
Electricity is available at most teahouses along the Mardi Himal Trek, allowing trekkers to charge mobile phones, cameras, smartwatches, and other electronic devices. However, charging facilities may become limited at higher elevations, and some teahouses charge an additional fee for this service.
At Manikang Nepal Treks, we recommend carrying a fully charged power bank and the necessary charging cables before starting your trek. A high-capacity power bank is especially useful if you plan to take photos, record videos, or use your phone for navigation throughout the journey.
Power outages and limited electricity can occasionally occur in the mountains due to weather conditions. To avoid inconvenience, charge your devices whenever electricity is available and use battery power wisely during the trek.
Being prepared with backup power ensures you can stay connected, capture unforgettable Himalayan views, and enjoy a smooth trekking experience.
