Everest 3 Passes Trek.

  • Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu.


    Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly

    greeted by our representative. They will assist you with the necessary arrangements and

    transfer you to your hotel. Take some time to rest and prepare for the trek. Overnight stay in

    Kathmandu.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation

    Today, we will explore the culturally rich city of Kathmandu. We will visit UNESCO World

    Heritage Sites, including Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, and

    Pashupatinath Temple. Afterward, we will have a trek briefing and prepare for the Everest 3

    Passes Trek. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Flight to Lukla, Trek to Phakding (2,651m) - 3-4 hrs trek

    Early morning, we take a scenic flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. After

    landing, we start our trek to Phakding, following the Dudh Koshi River. The trail offers

    beautiful views and passes through several small villages. Overnight stay in Phakding.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) - 5-6 hrs trek

    Continuing along the Dudh Koshi River, we cross several suspension bridges and enter

    Sagarmatha National Park. We ascend through pine forests, enjoying views of Thamserku

    and Kongde Ri mountains. After a challenging climb, we reach Namche Bazaar, the bustling

    hub of the Everest region. Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.

    Day 5: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

    Today is a rest day to acclimatize to the high altitude. We can explore the vibrant Namche

    Bazaar, visit the Everest View Hotel for stunning mountain panoramas, and hike to Khumjung

    village. The day helps us adapt to the altitude and prepares us for the trek ahead. Overnight

    stay in Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 5 Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

    Today is a rest day to acclimatize to the high altitude. We can explore the vibrant Namche

    Bazaar, visit the Everest View Hotel for stunning mountain panoramas, and hike to Khumjung

    village. The day helps us adapt to the altitude and prepares us for the trek ahead. Overnight

    stay in Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 6 Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche, 5-6 hrs.

    Leaving Tengboche, the trail descends towards Debuche. You’ll cross a bridge to the other side of Imja Khola and head towards Pangboche through the rocky terrain. Walking through Pangboche, you’ll encounter thousands of Mani stones -revered stones with Buddhist graffiti and iconography. After a few hours of uphill trek, you’ll reach the Sherpa village of Dingboche (4,350m). Overnight stay at Dingboche.

  • Day 7 Trek from Dingboche to Chhukung, 2-3 hrs.

    Leaving Dingboche, the trail takes a right turn towards the quaint village of Chhukung instead of continuing through the same path leading to Everest Base Camp. You will head further east and walk uphill to arrive at the village of Chhukung. Chhukung village lies close to Chhukung Glacier and Island Peak (6,189m).

  • Day 8 Trek from Chhukung to Lobuche over the Kongma La, 7-8 hrs.

    You will set out early to reach the high pass of Kongma La (5,535m). You can take a trail over a hill which is to the northwest of Chhukung. The top of the pass is marked by many cairns and Buddhist prayer flags. The pass also sports panoramic views of Cholatse (6,335m), Taboche (6,367m), and Island Peak (6,189m) among others. After climbing the moraine on the far side, the trail turns north through Khumbu Glacier and takes you directly to Lobuche. Overnight stay at Lobuche.

  • Day 9 Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp return to Gorakshep, 7-8 hrs.

    Today is the big day as you leave Lobuche and trek to Everest Base Camp. A comparatively easy trek, you will first advance to Gorakshep and then you’ll advance through the straight trail with rocky dunes and moraine towards the base camp. Once at the Base Camp, you can explore the surroundings and take photos. The views of the panoramic Himalayan ranges and Khumbu Glacier are majestic in stature. Relish the sights before heading back to Gorakshep. Overnight stay at Gorakshep.

    • Altitude: 5,363m. & 5,140m.
  • Day 10 Hike to Kalapatthar & descend to Dzong La via Lobuche, 7-8 hrs.

    You’ll start early today and make your way towards Kalapatthar. Once at the top, you can catch the majestic sight of Mt. Everest (8,848m) glimmering in the dawn. You can also enjoy the panoramic view of Nuptse, Changste, and Lhotse mountain ranges. Afterward, you’ll trek back to Gorakshep and head towards Dzong La via Lobuche village. And route to Dzongla, you can catch the magnificent views of Awi Peak (5,245m).

    • Altitude: 5,545m. & 4,830m.
  • Day 11 Trek from Dzong La to Gokyo Lake, over Cho La Pass, 7-10 hrs.

    Leaving Dzong La, you’ll head towards Cho La Pass (5,420m). One of the high passes of the region, you’ll cross the pass and walk through Dragnag and Ngozumpa Glacier before arriving at Gokyo village. From the top of Cho La (5,420m), you can witness the small glacial ponds and high mountains. Crossing Ngozumpa glacier can be a bit difficult, hence you’ll take it slow. After crossing the glacier, you arrive at Gokyo Village located north to the esteemed Dudh Pokhari. Overnight stay at Gokyo Village.

    • Altitude: 4,800m. & 5,420m.
  • Day 12 Hiking Gokyo RI, walk 6-7 hrs walk around.

    Gokyo Peak or Gokyo Ri (5,360m) is a small peak located to the northwest of Gokyo Village. A few hours of the uphill hike will bring you to the top of Gokyo Ri from where you can enjoy the majestic sight of surrounding peaks namely the Mount Everest (8,848m), Lhotse (8,516m), Makalu (8,463m), and Cho Oyu (8,188m). You can also explore the Gokyo lakes located further north from the Gokyo Ri. Overnight stay at Gokyo.

  • Day 13 Trek from Gokyo Lake to Lumde, over Renjo La, 6-9 hrs.

    The day starts early after breakfast. Today, you’ll climb the Renjo La Pass (5,360m) to reach to the other side to Lumde. The trail ascends to Renjo La pass on the rocky and snow-covered trail with long glacier walk. From the top, you can see the magnificent views of mountains namely the Mount Everest (8,848m) and Gokyo valley. After a brief descent, you’ll arrive at Lumde. Overnight stay at Lumde.

    • Altitude: 4,370m. & 5,360m.
  • Day 14 Trek from Lumde to Thame, 4-5 hrs.

    Leaving Lumde, you’ll descend down to Thame village. You’ll walk along the Dudh Koshi River and head towards Thame valley. The trek takes you to Marulung as you walk along the Bhote Koshi River. Thereon, the journey crosses the river on many occasions to reach Taranga. For the final stretch of the trek, you pass pasturelands to reach Thame. Thame village lies directly above Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 15 Trek from Thame to Phakding, 7-8 hrs.

    Leaving Thame, you’ll trek down the Dudh Koshi valley and make your way towards Phakding via Monjo. The downhill hike will be comparatively easy. You’ll trek all the way through Namche Bazaar and Monjo before arriving at Phakding. On the trek, you also exit the Sagarmatha National Park and share the trails with local yaks and donkeys. Overnight stay at Phakding.

  • Day 16 Descent to Lukla & Flight to Kathmandu, 3-4 hrs walk+35 min.

    This is the last day of the trek. The short trek will only account for 3-4hr of walking. You’ll start the hike early so you can catch the earliest possible flight back to Kathmandu. You’ll bid adieu to Khumbu region and the pristine Himalaya peaks. Once at Kathmandu, you’ll be escorted back to your hotel. You can rest in your hotel or head out to explore the capital and its attractions. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

  • Day 17 International Departure.
