Jiri to EBC Trek.

  • Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m)

    Soon after landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and immediately transfer you to your respective hotel. You can explore the streets of Thamel and try Newari cuisines to spend the day. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

  • Day 2 Drive to Jiri (1,995m)6-7 hrs.

    After breakfast, you will start the drive to Jiri. You will drive through twisted paths via Kodari Highway. Along the way, you will cross fast flowing Sun Koshi River, stunning hilly landscapes, and few suspension bridges. From Mude, you will march forward enjoying a glorious view of Ganesh Himal (7,422m), Langtang Lirung (7,227m), and Dorje Lakpa (6,996m). Overnight stay at Jiri.

  • Day 3 Trek from Jiri to Bhandar (2,190m) 7 hrs.

    Today is the first day of your trek. In the early first hour, the trail passes proceeds towards Mahabhir. Crossing few wooden bridges, you will trek through forested area and stone paths. Upon reaching Deurali, you can explore the Sherpa culture as you pass through Mani walls and Buddhist monasteries. Enjoying a stunning view of Linkhu Khola, you will finally reach Bhandar. Overnight stay at Bhandar.

  • Day 4 Trek from Bhandar to Sethe (2,985m) 7 hrs.

    Stepping out of the beautiful Sherpa village of Bhandar, you will start your ascend towards Sethe. You will walk through terraced farmlands and the forested area of pine, fir, and rhododendron before reaching Barandas. From here, the trail ahead is steep and challenging, as you will continue your climb towards the hamlet of Kenja. Continuing the trek, you will head to Chimbu followed by a final walk to Sethe. Overnight stay at Sethe.

  • Day 5 Trek from Sethe to Junbesi (2,700m) 7 hrs.

    Early in the morning, you will start your trek towards Junbesi. As you move forward, you will take an ascending route towards the top of Lamjura Pass at 3530m. Walking past the forest of blue pine, blooming rhododendron, and magnolia trees, you will come across a wide variety of birds. You can also visit a numerous number of monasteries on the way to Junbesi. Overnight stay at Junbesi.

  • Day 6 Trek from Junbesi to Nunthala (2,194m) 7 hrs.

    Leaving Junbesi behind, you will start your trek crossing Junbesi Khola. As you continue your ascent towards Khurtang Phurteng, you will again enter the forested area of blooming rhododendron and pine. On a clear day, the views of the Mt. Everest (8,848m), Thamserku (6,608m), Mera Peak (6,461m), and few other snow-capped mountains are also visible from Khurtang Phurteng. The trail passes through the hamlet of Ringmo and proceeds towards Taksindu La at 3870m. Finally, you will reach Nunthala after completing some steep walks. Overnight stay at Nunthala.

  • Day 7 Trek from Nunthala to Khari Khola (2,040m) 6 hrs.

    On the 7th day, you will continue your walk towards Khari Khola. Along with the majestic view of Everest Himalayas, you will slowly descend all the way down to meet Dudh Koshi through the green forest and farmlands. From here, you will move forward crossing the suspension bridge over the river stream to reach the settlement of Jubhing, which finally leads the way to Khari Khola. Overnight stay at Khari Khola.

  • Day 8 Trek form Khari Khola to Paiya (2,730m) 6 hrs.

    After breakfast, you will start you trek as you descend forward crossing the actual river of Khari. Along the way, you will walk past several water-driven mills before reaching Bupsa. Thereon, you will march towards Paiya enjoying the bio-diversity of the region. The trail also offers mesmerizing views of Mt. Khumbila (6,367m) and Mt. Cho Oyu (8,188m) on a few occasions. Overnight stay at Paiya.

  • Day 9 Trek from Paiya to Phakding (2,610m) 6 hrs.

    In the early first hours, you will reach the hamlet of Surke crossing few suspension bridges and beautiful waterfalls. After arriving at a junction, you will head right towards Lukla. The trail takes you through the lush forest of pine and rhododendron and reaches the village of Ghat followed by a trek to Phakding. Overnight stay at Phakding.

  • Day 10 Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 6 hrs.

    From Phakding, you will continue your trek towards Namche Bazaar. Alongside the bank of Dudh Koshi River, you will walk past the settlements of Bengkar and Jorsalle. If you are lucky, you might even encounter some wildlife in the Sagarmatha National Park. Enjoying the sublime view of Mt. Ama Dablam (6,856m) and Thamserku (6,608m), you can also explore the culture and lifestyle in the Sherpa settlements along the way. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 11 Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar.

    Today is the much-needed rest day, as you will get an opportunity to adjust with the increasing altitude. Early in the morning, you can hike to hotel Everest view, Syangboche from where you will get an enchanting view of Ama Dablam (6,856m), Thamserku (6,608m), Nuptse (7,861m), Lhotse (8,516m) and other snow-capped mountains. At the evening, you can roam around the local market, try local foods and get familiar with their unique culture and tradition. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 12 Trek from Namche Bazar to Tengboche (3,860m) 5 hrs.

    Today, you will continue your ascend towards the settlement of Sanasa. Form Sanasa, the trail proceeds towards the village of Phunki Tenga alongside the bank of Imja Khola. Along the way, you will walk through the green forest of pine and fir. Finally, you will reach Tengboche enjoying a close view of Ama Dablam (6,856m), Lhotse (8,516m), and Thamserku (6,608m). Overnight stay at Tengboche.

  • Day 13 Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche(4,410m) 5 hrs.

    In the morning, you can relish the sights of the majestic panorama of the Everest Himalayas. Along with the Imja Khola, the trail takes you through the Mani walls and chortens. A steep climb to the top of the ridge takes you to Pangboche from where you will get a glorious view of Himalayas. Crossing the settlement of Pheriche, you will finally reach Dingboche. Overnight stay at Dingboche.

  • Day 14 Acclimatization in Dingboche.

    On our final acclimatization day at Dingboche, we rest and prepare for the ascent on the coming days. The Sherpa village is a brilliant specimen of Sherpa culture and lifestyle. Similarly, exploring around the village is also viable for short hikes and excursions. You can visit the local monasteries or make way towards the Imja Tse valley. The valley offers enchanting scenery of the surrounding landscapes and Himalayas in the background. Later, you return to Dingboche. Overnight stay in Dingboche.

  • Day 15 Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910m) 5 hrs.

    From Dingboche, you will continue your journey through huge rocks, narrow paths, and small hamlets. After reaching Thukla, you will take a steep ascent to the top of a ridge and reach the top of Dughla Pass at (4,830m). Moving forward, you will cross wide barren lands while enjoying the views of Taboche (6,367m) and Cholatse (6,335m) peaks. As you move ahead, you traverse through glacial moraines to reach Lobuche. Overnight stay at Lobuche.

  • Day 16 Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m) then trek back to Gorakshep (5,181m) 8 hrs.

    Today is the most exciting and fulfilling day of your trek. As you walk along the Lobuche Glacier and glorious views of the Himalayas, you arrive at Gorakshep. From Gorakshep, it is a short hike to the Everest Base Camp. Along with the company of majestic Himalayas, you will ascend through rocky moraines and glaciers to reach the Everest Base Camp. Once at the base camp, you can explore around the Khumbu Glacier and get a close-up view of Nuptse (7861m) and the majestic Khumbu Glacier. You will return to Gorakshep upon completing the exploration. Overnight stay at Gorakshep.

  • Day 17 Hiking to Kalapatthar (5545m) -Gorakshep-Pheriche (4,210m) 7 hrs.

    Early in the morning, you will start your hike towards Kalapatthar from where you can enjoy stunning views of Himalayas. You will certainly be amazed by the sublime view of Mt. Everest (8,848m), Nuptse (7,861m), Changste (7,543m), Lhotse (8,516m), Ama Dablam (6,856m), and Lingtren (6,749m). Moving forward, you will now slowly descend to the settlement of Gorakshep where you will have a quick lunch. Finally, you will reach Pheriche via Lobuche glacier. Overnight stay at Pheriche.

  • Day 18 Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 6 hrs.

    On the 18th day, you will continue your journey towards Namche. From Pheriche, you take the trail that descends on most occasions to reach Tengboche. You continue to retrace your steps to trek along the Sagarmatha National Park. Often, you can enjoy the company of yaks and local cattle to settle at Namche Bazaar. At Namche Bazaar, enjoy the company of the Sherpa culture with the warmth of modern luxuries. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 19 Trek from Namche to Lukla (2,800m) 7 hrs.

    Today is the final day of your trek. Along with the amusement of wildlife and lush vegetation of Sagarmatha National park, you will continue your walk crossing few suspension bridges and beautiful waterfalls. The trail is often crowded with trekkers and local people alike heading in and out of the Everest region. Finally, you will reach Lukla enjoying a distant view of disappearing peaks. Overnight stay at Lukla.

  • Day 20 Fly to Kathmandu from Lukla Airport and free day.

    After breakfast, you will take a flight back to Kathmandu. It is a 35mins scenic flight from Lukla above the green hills and mountains. Once at the capital, you will visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites including Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. In the evening, you can savor the traditional delicacies of the country. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

  • Day 21 Final departure.

    Today is your final day in Nepal. We will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport two hours prior to your scheduled flight. You can also share your experience with us on the way to the airport. Goodbye.
