Langtang Valley Trek.

  • Day 1 Kathmandu Arrival (1,310m), Transfer to hotel.

    When you land at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will go through custom and visa formalities. As you exit from the Arrival Hall, you will find our representative waiting for you with a placard in his hand. Look for your name in a placard. After receiving you, he will transfer you to the three-star category hotel. Get refreshed. Later, you will get a briefing regarding the trip. Explore the surroundings. Have a comfortable stay.

  • Day 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing.

    After breakfast, you will join for guided Kathmandu City Tour. Out of 10 UNESCO cultural sites in Nepal, 4 of them exist in Kathmandu alone making it the historical city. We will start the tour by visiting the Pashupatinath Complex which is the most significant Hindu Temple in Nepal. Non- Hindus are not allowed access in the main temple premises but you can still observe cremation ceremony at the bank of Bagmati River. You will also visit Bouddhanath which was listed in the world heritage site in 1979 A.D. This is also known as mini Tibet in Kathmandu. Next stop will be at Swoyambhunath which is the oldest Buddhist Stupa located at the top of the hill. Swoyambhunath is the oldest stupa that dates 2500 years back. Drive further to Kathmandu Durbar Square- the ancient Royal Palace. Hanumandhoka Museum, Kasthamandap Temple, KalBhairav Statue and House of Living Goddess are places of interest. Return to the hotel for a comfortable stay. In the afternoon, you can shop for any trekking equipment that you require.

  • Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (2,100m).

    Heading northwest from Kathmandu, we will follow the meandering road along Queen Forest. The road is scenic with views of mountains, river and crop fields. We will reach the Trishuli River. We will take lunch at Trishuli Bazaar and drive further to reach Dhunche. Following the bumpy road, we will drive toSyabrubesi. Stay overnight at Syabrubesi.

  • Day 4 Trek to Bamboo (1,960m).

    Syabrubesi is the starting point for Langtang Valley Trek. Leaving Syabrubesi, we will lower down to Bhote Koshi River. Our journey continues along the Langtang River. After a couple of hours, we will climb uphill to Bamboo which is where we will stay overnight.

  • Day 5 Trek to Lama Hotel (2,540m).

    After an early breakfast, we will follow the ascending trail to Rimche (2,400m). A scenic place, Ramche is located close to Langtang River. After stopping briefly at Ramche, we will traverse the pine forest where we will get the opportunity to view rare red panda. The trail continues to Lama Hotel. Stay overnight at Lama Hotel.

  • Day 6 Trek to Langtang Village (3,307m).

    After taking breakfast at Lama Hotel, we will follow the straight path for an hour to reach Gumanechok. The trail continues further to GhoraTabela village. We will climb uphill from Ghoratabela to the alpine meadow where we can see yaks grazing over lush grass. We will continue to walk to Langtang Village. Stay overnight in Langtang village.

  • Day 7 Trek to KynanjinGompa (3,749m).

    From Langtang village, we will follow the ascending trail to KyanjinGompa. The area offers epic views of mountains that lie in Nepal as well as in neighboring Tibet. Mount Ganchempo and LangtangLirung are some of the mountains that we can view. We can also visit Yak Cheese Factory while staying in KaynjinGompa.

  • Day 8 Rest Day.

    Spend a day in KyangjinGompa. This place is worth exploring. We can walk through a moraine to a viewpoint that greets us with the view of LangtangLirung. Next alternative is to climb KyangjinRi (4,350m). The summit of KyangjinRi offers close-up views of LangtangMountain. Lower down to KyangjinGompa for staying overnight.

  • Day 9 Trek to GhoraTabela (3,048m).

    We will prepare for a return trip. Lowering down from KyangjinGompa, we will cross pretty Langtang village and reach Ghoratabela. The trail stretches further through tiny ethnic villages of Tamang. We will walk along chorten to Langtang village and enter forest area from where we will walk toGhoraTabela. Enjoy the close-up view of LangtangLirung Mountain and stay overnight in GhoraTabela.

  • Day 10 Trek to ThuloSyabru Village (2,228m).

    Leaving GhoraTabela, we will enter the forest area. The trail continues through aak forest to the river. After crossing the suspension bridge over the river, we will head towards Bamboo. The trail then lowers down to landslide area. Walking carefully through the landslide area, we will trek to ThuloSyabru. This is a Tamanginhabited village. Stay overnight in ThuloSyabru.

  • Day 11 Trek to Dhunche (1,750m).

    Leaving ThuloSyabru early in the morning, we will climb through rhododendron forest to the top of a small ridge. We will descend from the top of ridge to Brabal and continue to lower down to ThuloBharkhu. After a brief stop at ThuloBharkhu, we will walk towards Dhunche where Langtang Village Trek ends. Stay overnight in Dhunche.

  • Day 12 Drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu.

    After spending a memorable time in Langtang Region, it is time to return home. So, we will drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu. We will arrive in Kathmandu in about 7 to 8 hours. You will be transferred to the hotel. Stay overnight in a hotel.

  • Day 13 Free Day.

    Enjoy the free time. Take rest and stretch your aching muscles. You can also join our additional sightseeing tour in Kathmandu. The evening is the best time to go for shopping in the cobbled street of Thamel. Curio goods, painting and Nepali handicrafts are perfect gift items to take home. Stay overnight in the hotel.

  • Day 14 Departure.

    You will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport three hours before your scheduled flight. Have a safe journey. We hope to see you soon.
