Lobuche Peak Climbing.

  • Day 1 Arrival Day in Kathmandu.

    At Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by one of our representatives who will escort you to your hotel. Once at the hotel, you will meet your climb guide and discuss the trip. In the evening, you can take a stroll around the market to purchase any trek/climb accessories, snacks, and goodies. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

  • Day 2 Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour and Trek Preparation.

    Today, your guide will assess your climb gear and equipment. While your guide is getting your permits ready, you’ll embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of the historical Kathmandu city. Accompanied by an experienced tour guide, you’ll visit some of the pristine UNESCO World Heritage Sites namely Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. If time permits, you can choose to visit other UNESCO heritage sites. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

  • Day 3 Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding, Duration: 3–4 Hrs.

    After early breakfast, you’ll drive to the airport to catch a short flight to Lukla in the Everest region. The scenic trans-Himalayan flight will last 35 minutes and will take you all the way to Lukla Domestic Airport. Lukla serves as the gateway to the Everest region. After a brief layover, you’ll begin trekking to the next Sherpa village of Phakding. Overnight stay at Phakding.

  • Day 4 Phakding to Namche Bazaar, Duration: 6 Hrs.

    You’ll leave Phakding, and trek upwards to the village of Namche Bazaar. You’ll trek through Jorsalle along the Dudh Koshi Valley to reach Monjo village which serves as the entry point to Sagarmatha National Park. After getting your permits checked, you’ll trek through the park to arrive at the largest Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 5 Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar.

    Today, you’ll spend the day acclimatizing at Namche Bazaar. At Namche, you will get to witness the Sherpa lifestyle and observe the culture of the locals. Khumjung and Khunde villages to the north of Namche offer insights into the Sherpas culture. Everest View Hotel is yet another entertaining hike which offers spectacular views of the Everest Himalayan ranges. Overnight stay at Namche.

  • Day 6 Trek to Tengboche, Duration: 5–6 Hrs.

    Leaving Namche Bazaar, you’ll ascend further up the Dudh Koshi valley and make way towards the popular village of Tengboche. You’ll trek through Phunki Thanga and ascend along the rocky path to arrive at Tengboche. Tengboche is a popular Sherpa village and home to the highest monastery in Nepal, Tengboche Monastery. The monastery also hosts the annual Mani Rimdu festival every year during October-November which brings in flocks of people. Overnight stay at Tengboche.

  • Day 7 Trek to Pheriche, Duration: 4–5 Hrs.

    Today you trek from Tengboche to Pheriche. You’ll leave Tengboche monastery and descend downhill through a forest. You’ll cross Imja Khola and gradually climb to Pangboche village lying directly opposite to Ama Dablam (6,856m). A further two-hour uphill trek will bring you to Pheriche. At Pheriche, you can explore the local areas before settling at a local lodge for the day. Overnight stay at Pheriche.

  • Day 8 Acclimatization day at Pheriche.

    Today you’ll rather rest and acclimatize to relax your tired bodies. To keep yourself active, you’ll take a short hike up the valley to enjoy the Tshola Tsho and the walls of Cholatse (6,335m) and Taboche (6,367m). Later, you can return to Pheriche and explore the Sherpa village. The Sherpa customs, traditions, and lifestyle allow for thoroughly immersing explorations. Overnight stay at Pheriche.

  • Day 9 Trek to Lobuche, Duration: 5–6 Hrs.

    You’ll continue up the wide valley beneath the majestic peaks of Cholatse and Taboche to the left. A turn to the right and a steep climb will bring you to Dughla. You’ll pass along many memorial sites dedicated to the Sherpas who died while climbing the Mt Everest. The path gently climbs towards Lobuche. Overnight stay at Lobuche.

  • Day 10 Trek to Gorakshep and visit Everest Base Camp, Duration: 6–7 Hrs.

    Today, you will trek all the way up to Everest Base Camp. You’ll trek through the Gorakshep village and make your way towards Everest Base Camp. You will witness the Indian army mountaineers' memorials en route. The Khumbu Glacier and numerous mountains in the surrounding provide glorious trekking trails. Once at the Everest base camp, you can explore the surrounding glacier and take pictures. After exploring the base camp, you’ll make your way back to Gorakshep. Overnight stay at Gorakshep.

    • Altitude: 5,140m. & 5,364m.
  • Day 11 Early Hike to Kalapatthar and Trek to Lobuche, Duration: 7–8 Hrs.

    Today, you’ll begin early and trek to the local landmark of Kalapatthar. One of the highest points of the trek, you can catch the beautiful sunrise from along the majestic sight of the Everest summit (8,848m). After enjoying the panorama of the Himalayas, you descend and head back to Gorakshep. Thereon, the trail further descends to arrive at Lobuche. Overnight stay at Lobuche.

    • Altitude: 5,545m. & 4,910m.
  • Day 12 Trek to High Camp, Duration: 3–4 Hrs.

    Leaving Lobuche village, you’ll approach the Lobuche East Peak from here on. The strenuous trek will take you all the way to Lobuche High Camp through the rocky moraines and steep trail. You’ll advance along the Lobuche Glacier while enjoying some great sceneries of Ama Dablam, Cholatse, Pokalde, Thamserku, and Kangtega ranges. It may take well over 3 hours to reach the campsite located at 5400m. Once at the high camp, you will rest and prepare for the summit. Your Sherpa guide will assist you with pre-climb training. Overnight stay at High Camp.

  • Day 13 Climb to Summit and back to High Camp, Duration: 10 Hrs.

    The push for summit starts early. You’ll have an early breakfast at around 2 and embark for the summit. The advantage of starting early is to avoid bad weather and to complete the ascent on time. You will climb the rocky surface up to around 5770m and then climb the ice trail. The final ascent is made through the challenging exposed ridge. From the top, you can enjoy the majestic scenery of the entire valley and the mountains from the top. You’ll make your way back to High Camp. Overnight stay at High Camp.

  • Day 14 Trek to Pangboche, Duration: 5–6 Hrs.

    Today, you’ll leave high camp and make your way back to Pangboche village. You’ll retrace your path and trek along the Lobuche Glacier to arrive at Lobuche village. After a brief layover, you’ll make your down to the beautiful village of Pangboche via Pheriche while enjoying the scenery of Ama Dablam (6,856m) in the distance. Overnight stay at Pangboche.

  • Day 15 Trek to Namche, Duration: 4–5 Hrs.

    You’ll leave Pangboche and retrace your path back to Tengboche via Imja Khola. A short downhill trek from Tengboche will bring you back to Namche Bazaar. Sharing the trails through the Sagarmatha National Park, the journey involves trekking through lush forests of rhododendron. On making a climb to the top of a ridge, a brief descent will take you to Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 16 Trek to Lukla, Duration: 6–7 Hrs.

    The trek concedes upon your arrival at Lukla. The trail follows the steep stone steps towards the Phakding village via Monjo and a short downhill walk bring you back to Lukla. The entire trek follows the majestic Bhote Koshi River to settle at Lukla. Once at Lukla, you can celebrate the completion of the trip with your colleague and staff. Overnight stay at Lukla.

  • Day 17 Fly back to Kathmandu.

    You will catch an early flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla. Bidding farewell to mountains can be quite tough, however, you can enjoy the last glimpse of the Himalayas while returning to Kathmandu. Once at Kathmandu, our representative will take you back to your hotel. You can also make final shopping for gifts and souvenirs on the final day of your stay in Nepal. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

  • Day 18 Final departure.

    We’ll drop you off to Tribhuvan International Airport in a private car so you can catch your scheduled flight back home. You will leave for the airport approximately 2 hours early. We wish you a safe journey and hope to see you soon.
