Nar Phu Valley Trek.

  • Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m).

    Welcome fellow trekkers! On reaching the Tribhuvan International Airport, we will receive you. Thereafter, a short drive will take you to the hotel. After checking in and getting refreshed, our guide will brief you about the overall trip and coordinate any last-minute arrangements. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

  • Day 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation.

    Today is the day we go sightseeing around the world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley, which includes Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath stupa, Swayambhunath, and the Pashupatinath temple. We get to see the art, culture, and history that ornament the Kathmandu Valley. After we return from sightseeing, you can make necessary preparations for the trek and be all ready for the adventure to come. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

  • Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Syange (1,100m) & trek to Jagat (1,300m).

    We take an early morning drive towards Syange via Besisahar. The highway runs towards the western part of Nepal till Dumre and then towards north to Besisahar. This refreshing drive traverses through the scenic view of Trishuli River, breath-taking view of jungles, and hamlets. The ride up to Besisahar is smooth whereas, after Besisahar, the ride can get bumpy and dusty. On reaching Syange, we immediately start our trek to reach Jagat. Overnight stay at Jagat.

  • Day 4 Trek from Jagat to Dharapani (1,860m).

    We start our trek descending to the Marshyangdi and continue through the forest. After ascending for some time, we reach the sharp-edged cliff facing the river bank. After crossing the suspension bridge, we ascend up the steep and slippery trail that leads to Sattale. Then, we descend to the bank of the Marshyangdi River and reach the beautiful village of Tal. Traversing through waterfalls and cliffs, we reach Dharapani. Overnight stay at Dharapani.

  • Day 5 Trek from Dharapani to Koto (2,600m).

    Today, we leave Dharapani for Koto. The trail goes through pine and fir forest to reach Baharchhap and then to Danakyu. Next, the steep ascent takes us to Timang. After then, we walk through the pine forest to reach Koto. Today’s walk brings us to the beautiful views of the mountain in Annapurna and Manaslu ranges. Overnight stay at Koto.

  • Day 6 Trek from Koto to Meta (3,560m).

    Leaving the Annapurna circuit trail, we head towards Meta. After checking in at Nar Phu valley check post, we continue our trek through the trail that traverses alongside Soti Khola. Walking through pine forest up and down the hill, we reach Meta. Meta is the charming Tibetan Buddhist settlement with wonderful views of Annapurna II (7,937m) and Lamjung Himal (6,983m).   • Day 7 Trek from Meta to Phu (4,100m).

    Today is a long day trekking of about 8 hours. Meandering up and down the hill, crossing the suspension bridge over different streams, we arrive at Kyang. We explore the ruined forts of Khampa settlement. The trail continues past the Phu Khola on a rocky trail and reaches Phu village. Phu village welcomes us with the magnificent view of mountains in the Annapurna ranges. Overnight stay at Phu village.

  • Day 8 Exploration Day.

    Today is the rest day at Phu village to explore the surrounding and allow our bodies to acclimatize. We explore the culture of the Tibetan communities and get to know about mountain civilization. We explore Tashi Lhakhang Monastery and get insight into the history of these ethnic communities. Alternatively, we can also go hiking to Himlung Base Camp. Overnight stay at Phu Village.

  • Day 9 Trek from Phu to Nar (4,110m).

    We continue our trek towards Nar. We descend passing many streams and suspension bridges to reach Mahendra Pul. One of the high suspension bridge is the one over Loha River. After then, we ascend passing many Buddhist stupas before reaching Nar village. Nar Village is a Tibetan Buddhist settlement. We can explore local cultures and tradition with the view of mountains besides. Overnight stay at Nar.

  • Day 10 Trek from Nar to Ngawal (3,660m) via Kang La Pass (5,322m).

    We wake up early in the morning and start our trek for today. We ascend uphill slowly to reach Kang La Pass (5,320m). Kang La Pass which separates Phu valley and Manang offers spectacular views of Annapurna massifs and surrounding landscapes. After enjoying ourselves at the pass for some time, the trail descends steeply to Ngawal. Overnight stay at Ngawal.

  • Day 11 Trek from Ngawal to Manang (3,540m).

    Today, we leave Ngawal for Manang. With the amazing view of Annapurna range alongside, we pass Munchi village to reach the main trail of Annapurna Circuit trail. After a short walk, we reach Manang. The barren lands offer exciting sights and visits to the monasteries entrail. Although the trek is fairly easy, we can relish in the cultural majesty of the Manang Village. Overnight stay at Manang.

  • Day 12 Trek from Manang to Thare Gompa (3,900m).

    Witnessing the amazing view of Annapurna range, we towards our destination for today .i.e. Thare Gompa. The trail passes through several beautiful villages including Khangsar before arriving at Thare Gompa. Thare Gompa is the thousand-year-old monastery with the high religious value among the locals. The village is inhabited only during festivals. Overnight stay at Thare Gompa.

  • Day 13 Trek from Thare Gompa to Tilicho Base Camp (4,150m).

    We begin our trek passing the Khangsar River to reach Khangsar village. Further climbing takes us to Siri Kharka. From Siri Kharka, the path is narrow and passes through the landslide-prone area. The view of the whole valley seen is mind-blowing. After then, we reach Tilicho Base Camp after traveling across steep ascents and the Tilicho Lake. Overnight stay at Tilicho Lake Base Camp.

  • Day 14 Trek from Tilicho Base Camp to Tilicho Lake (4,920m).

    We wake up early in the morning and head towards Tilicho Lake. The trail ascends through the glacial moraine with the mind-blogging view of Mount Nilgiri (7,061m), Tilicho Peak (6920m), and other peaks in Thorung and Muktinath Himal ranges. Tilicho Lake is the lake situated at the highest altitude in the world. We drink in the tranquil beauty of splendid Tilicho Lake. After having a good time, we retrace our steps back to Tilicho Base Camp. Overnight stay at Tilicho Base camp.

  • Day 15 Trek from Tilicho Lake to Kaisang/Yak Kharka (3,510m).

    Following the main trail down the path through the alpine vegetation, we pass alongside the towering peaks in the Nilgiri ranges. The walk on this day also entails the highest point on the entire trek at Mesokanto La Pass (5,340m). The views of Nilgiri, Tukuche, Thorung, and Annapurna ranges from here are simply amazing. Thereafter, we continue on the descent to Yak Kharka. Overnight stay at Yak Kharka.

  • Day 16 Trek from Kaisang to Jomsom (2,720m).

    We leave Yak Kharka for Jomsom early in the morning. We can also explore the Nama Phug caves in the vicinity of Kaisang before commencing the trek. As we head for Jomsom, we go across meadows and pasturelands to arrive at Thini. We cross the Budhi Gandaki River o reach the windy town of Jomsom. Overnight stay at Jomsom.

  • Day 17 Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara (820m).

    After having breakfast, we fly from Jomsom to Pokhara. We enjoy the scenic beauty seen from the flight as it passes through the gorge formed by Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Landing at Pokhara, we can head to our hotel and rest. In the evening, we can explore the beauty of Phewa Lake and take a boat ride. Overnight stay at Pokhara.

  • Day 18 Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus.

    We take an early morning drive-by tourist bus towards Kathmandu. We reach Kathmandu almost after 6-7 hour drive that traverses through the beautiful scenery of rivers, mountains, country sites, and agricultural fields. To celebrate the successful completion of the journey, you can visit the authentic diners and eateries in Kathmandu. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

  • Day 19 Departure from Kathmandu.

    As you prepare for the flight to your destination, you can also plan for future visits to Nepal. We will be ever-ready to accompany you. Later, you will head to the Tribhuvan International Airport for the scheduled flight.
