The Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek.

  • Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m).

    After landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will receive you and drive you to the hotel. After a brief introduction session with other members and your guides, you will be shown to your rooms which concludes all the activities for the day. You can explore the nearby places and prepare for the journey. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

  • Day 2 Kathmandu drive to Chame (2,670m) via Besisahar.

    Today marks the beginning of our journey as we make our way towards Chame. Heading out of Kathmandu, the journey settles down on the winding bends of the Prithvi Highway. The landscapes brightened by the Trishuli River, the journey takes a turn towards the north from Bandipur heading to Besisahar. After a brief stop at the hilly town of Besisahar, the journey continues towards Chame. Overnight stay at Chame.

  • Day 3 Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,200m.).

    The beginning of our trek we make our way towards Pisang for the night. Heading out of Chame, the trail snakes pleasantly through the lush green forests. The snowcapped Himalayas glistening over the forests provide a magnificent backdrop for our journey as we arrive in Bhratang. Reaching Dhikur Pokhari, the views of the Himalayas welcome us before heading towards Pisang. Overnight stay at Pisang.

  • Day 4 Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,540m.).

    The day begins with the lovely views of Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna II (7,937m), Annapurna IV (7,525m) as we prepare for our journey towards Manang. The trail today takes on the drier part of the district as the arid region where monsoon is cut off by the Annapurna Range. Taking the northern trail out of Pisang, the journey slowly begins to ascend towards Ghyaru and Ngawal each boasting tantalizing Himalayan panorama to reach Manang. Overnight stay at Manang.

  • Day 5 Acclimatization in Manang (3,540m.).

    The first and only of our acclimatization days, today, we take some time off to let our bodies adapt to the changing altitudes plus any excuse to enjoy the hamlet of Manang is a welcoming one. The trail offers a host of options to choose from including the monasteries of Braga Gompa and Boozo Gompa. You can also decide on a journey to Gangapurna Lake. The turquoise glacial lake offers a relaxing take on our journey with its stunning views and laid back environment. Overnight stay at Manang.

  • Day 6 Trek from Manang to Khangsar (3,734m).

    Heading out of Manang the journey takes us high above the stunning Marsayangdi River through the Khangsar Khola valley. Continuing on the journey heads through the opening valley with the views of Annapurna II (7,937m) providing a magnificent background. Crossing the suspension bridge brings us to the final stretch of the journey which then ascends towards Khangsar. Overnight stay at Manang.

  • Day 7 Trek from Khangsar to Tilicho Base Camp (4,150m).

    Heading out of Khangsar, the journey begins its climb through the arid landscapes reaching Siri Kharka. From here, we continue our journey with the views of Khangsar Khang (7,485m) towards a suspension bridge. Thereon, the route leads to a hill where the trail is clearly marked amidst the slope of rubble. The final stretch takes us through the dry glacial routes all the way to the base camp. Overnight stay at Tilicho Base Camp.

  • Day 8 Visit Tilicho Lake then trek to Khangsar (3,734m).

    Heading out of the base camp, the trail ascends through landslide area with the Manaslu (8,163m) decorating the eastern ridge. With the increasing altitudes, the journey gets steeper whilst the trail is covered entirely by snow. Navigating through the icy terrain, we reach the Tilicho Lake and, depending on the season your trek, it is either frozen completely or the icy blue waters reflect the stunning Himalayas. Either way, the view up here is one that is bound to leave us in complete awe. Overnight stay at Khangsar.

  • Day 9 Trek from Khangsar Trek to Yak Kharka (4,110m).

    The day begins early as we begin our journey exiting the valley alongside a narrow trail guided by the stone wall heading out of Khangsar. The first stretch of the journey takes us on a steep descent through the Thorung Khola valley before crossing the suspension bridge over the river and then ascending up the steep hill. As the trail overlaps with the one from Manang, the journey reaches its end-stage and a short trek takes us to Yak Kharka. Overnight stay at Yak Kharka.

  • Day 10 Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorung Phedi (4,420m).

    Today is one of the shorter days of the trek but trekking in high altitudes means we will take our time making our way to Thorung Phedi. The day begins with lovely views of the Annapurna Himalayan Range as we continue through the snowy landscapes. The journey takes us through pleasant pathways before reaching a suspension bridge which brings us to the trickier section of the journey. Right after this section is the Thorung Phedi situated just beneath the Thorung La Pass (5,416m). Overnight stay at Thorung Phedi.

  • Day 11 Trek from Phedi to Muktinath (3,800m).

    The culmination of all our travels as we prepare our crossing of the Thorung La Pass. Located at an altitude of (5,416m) the journey begins with a steep ascent heading towards the High Camp. The journey takes about an hour of serious climbing before we see the opening where the Camp is located. Continuing on, the trail begins its gradual ascent traversing through the canyons as we reach the Thorung La Pass summit. Admiring the views of the Annapurna Range in all its glory alongside the Kali Gandaki valley and an after brief rest, we once again pick up our pace descending towards Muktinath. Overnight stay at Muktinath.

  • Day 12 Trek Muktinath to Jomsom.

    The day begins early as we make our way towards the Hindu temple of Muktinath. The ancient Hindu temple has been a pilgrimage site for Hindus all over the world and several thousand Hindus make the journey to pay their respects during festivals. From Muktinath, you can observe the glorious views of Dhaulagiri (8,167m) alongside the arid lands of Mustang. Descending the trail takes us alongside the banks of Kali Gandaki River all the way down to Jomsom. Overnight stay at Jomsom.

  • Day 13 Trek from Jomsom to Tukuche.

    Continuing on, the trail surrounded by the desert landscape the journey heads out of Jomsom with views of Nilgiri (7,061m) dominating the skyline. Reaching Marpha, the trail makes its way through the Kali Gandaki Valley continuing towards Tukuche. The finals stretch of the journey is a pleasant one as it continues through the flat trail all the way. Tukuche is located in the Mustang region and boasts a unique culture and traditional way of life. Overnight stay at Tukuche.

  • Day 14 Trek from Tukuche to Marpha (2,680m).

    Heading back from Tukuche, the trail once again takes us alongside the pleasant hillside surrounded by dry mountains on either side. The mountains are often adorned with caves and while most of them are explored and house monasteries some are yet to be explored. Marpha is a prominent hilly town famous for its apples and apple-derived products. Overnight stay at Marpha.

  • Day 15 Trek from Marpha to Tatopani.

    Heading out of Marpha, the trail settles down at a comfortable pace continuing through the arid landscapes. Closer to the town of Ghasa, we are once again welcomed by the lush green forests and natural panorama. From Ghasa, the trail heads alongside the banks of Kali Gandaki River all the way back towards Tatopani. Tatopani hosts hot water baths allowing us to relax from the journey. Overnight stay at Tatopani.

  • Day 16 Trek from Tadapani to Sikha.

    Heading out of Tadapani the journey begins its descent before reaching the suspension bridge over the Kali Gandaki River. Leaving behind the dusty trail, the journey enters the lush green forests displaying the beauty of the Annapurna Region. Crossing the suspension bridge over Ghar Khola, the journey begins its ascent towards the small pass. Enjoying the rural landscape, we make our way towards the hamlet of Ghasa leading on to Sikha. Overnight stay at Sikha.

  • Day 17 Trek from Sikha to Ghorepani (2,860m).

    One of the shorter days of the trek, today, we trek to Ghorepani enjoying the pleasant hilly trail and rural hamlets. Having conquered the strenuous part of the ascent the day before, today, the trail takes us alongside the prosperous vegetation and wildlife. Ghorepani is a Gurung village and also offers great views of the Annapurna Mountains. Overnight stay at Ghorepani.

  • Day 18 Visit Poon Hill (3,210m) trek to Ulleri.

    The day begins early as we make our way towards Poon Hill to witness the glorious views of the sunrise on the horizon. The views of the golden Himalayas drenched in the morning from the Poon Hill viewpoint is absolutely amazing. The entire Annapurna Himalayan range shines golden as the snowy summits are illuminated. Heading back to Ghorepani, we have a lovely breakfast before descending towards Ulleri. Overnight stay at Ulleri.

  • Day 19 Trek from Ulleri to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara.

    The final day of our trek we begin our descent from Ulleri. Heading back, the descending route takes us through the cobbled staircases alongside the lush green forests. Enjoying the enticing natural landscapes, the journey reaches Nayapul our final trekking stop. From Nayapul, we drive back to Pokhara which concludes our trek and you are free to head down to the local areas enjoying the pleasant evening. Overnight stay at Pokhara.

  • Day 20 Pokhara Drive to Kathmandu.

    The final day of our journey we make our way back to the Kathmandu Valley. Heading out of Pokhara we once again find the winding pathways of the Prithvi Highway. Joined by the Trishuli River midway, the journey reaches Kathmandu. Back at Kathmandu, we head to the hotel. Overnight at stay at Kathmandu.

  • Day 21 Departure.

    Our representatives will once again drive you back to Tribhuvan International Airport just in time for your flight back home. We hope you had a lovely time with us and we look forward to seeing you again.
