The Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan Tour.

  • Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu.

    Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be greeted by one of our airport representatives. He will help you get to your Hotel. There is nothing else planned for this day, thus, you may check into your Hotel and relax. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 2 Full day guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu.

    On this day, you will have a sightseeing tour of the four major UNESCO World heritage sites beginning at the Swayambhunath temple is a temple located atop a hill boasting the panorama of the entire Katmandu Valley. The Boudhanath Stupa is the largest Buddhist Mandala in the word and a revered Buddhist site. Similarly, Pashupatinath temple is a major Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Kathmandu Durbar square is a courtyard of sprawling historical buildings, old monuments, and statues of Nepal's medieval era. After the guided sightseeing tour, you will head back to your Hotel.   • Day 3 Full day guided sightseeing tour to Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square.

    On this day, you will visit the two major historical cities of the Kathmandu valley- Patan and Bhaktapur and proceed to enjoy the sightseeing tour of both the city's Durbar Squares. Both of the Durbar squares of Patan and Bhaktapur are listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list and each, just like the Durbar Square in Kathmandu city, has sprawling courtyards of old buildings, temples and monuments and palaces of old Medieval monarchies. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 4 Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus and boating in Phewa Lake.

    Today, you will take a tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara city, which takes about 6 hours. During the journey, you can enjoy the countryside life in Nepal as well. Upon reaching Pokhara, you will transfer to your Hotel for your check-in. Pokhara is one of the major tourist hubs of Nepal and it is located beside the pristine Phewa Lake, where you can enjoy the views of the peaks like the Machhapuchhre and the Dhaulagiri from the city as well. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

  • Day 5 Morning Sunrise View in Sarangkot and sightseeing tour in Mahendra Cave, Bat Cave.

    Early in the morning, you will be taken to Sarangkot, one of the popular vantage points near Pokhara from where you can enjoy a majestic panorama of the Annapurna Mountains. After enjoying the sunrise view from Sarangkot, you will then be taken back to the city where you will be exploring the Mahendra Cave. Other destinations to enjoy today are the Bat cave, prominent for its Bat Habitat. Overnight say at a hotel in Pokhara.

  • Day 6 Hike to World Peace Stupa and afternoon visit to International Mountain Museum, Davis Fall & Gupteshwor Cave.

    Today, you will be enjoying a guided sightseeing tour of the World Peace Pagoda, from where the panorama of the city is grand. The environment while traveling to the Pagoda is also quite beautiful and naturally enticing. In the afternoon, you will then be visiting the International Mountaineering Museum and the popular Davis Fall, a staple tourist site of the city. Later, you will also visit the Gupteshwor Cave. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

  • Day 7 Drive from Pokhara to Chitwan by tourist bus.

    Early in the morning, you will take a tourist bus from Pokhara to Chitwan. The national park at Chitwan is quite amazing. The journey is filled with the lowland woods and marshes where you can enjoy the bird sightings and fleeting glimpses of the countryside. In Chitwan, you can stroll around the forests and Rapti riverbanks after checking in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Chitwan.

  • Day 8 In Chitwan National Park.

    On this day, you will spend the entire day enjoying the park's various features. The park is known for its jungle's safari, where you will explore the woodlands on elephant backs. The park also has an Elephant breeding center and also encloses an ethnic Tharu village. You can enjoy a boat ride on the river and see crocodiles and water birds. The woodlands of the park are home to various species of animals like the Royal Bengal Tigers and One-horned Rhinoceroses. In the evening, you can also enjoy a Tharu cultural presentation with dance and folksongs. Overnight stay at Chitwan.

  • Day 9 Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu by tourist bus.

    You will be traveling back to Kathmandu form Chitwan today via a tourist bus. The drive takes you along the fertile plains for the initial part and quickly transforms into winding highways on hillsides to take you back to the capital city of Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, you can enjoy the Newari cuisines and souvenir shopping. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 10 Departure from Kathmandu.

    Approximately three hours before your scheduled flight, a Manikang representative will drop you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport from where you will depart.
