The Mohare Danda Trek with Ghorepani Ghandruk.

  • Day 1 Arrival at Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel.

    You may arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport at any time. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your Hotel from the airport by one of our airport representative who will be there waiting for you. There are no planned activities for today, so you can spend the rest of the time as per your inclination. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 2 Kathmandu to Pokhara by bus. Driving 7-8 hrs.

    Early in the morning, you will be traveling to Pokhara via a tourist bus. Pokhara is a tourist hub of Nepal and is situated beside the Phewa Lake and is in close proximity to the Annapurna Mountains. You can also enjoy the countryside life in Nepal while on the journey. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 3 Pokhara to Galeshwor by bus and trek to Bans Kharka (1,525m). Driving 4 hrs & walking for 3 hrs.

    From Pokhara today, you will be traveling to Galeshwor, winding your way around the foothill road with the view of the Annapurna Mountains. Upon reaching Galeshwor, you will then trek to Bans Kharka, passing through the wonderful pastures and occasional small villages that line the trail. Along the journey, you can encounter many cattle herders and porters carrying goods to and fro from the mountains. Overnight stay at Bans Kharka.

  • Day 4 Bans Kharka to Nangi (2,300m). Walking 5-6 hrs.

    Passing through the forests of pine and hamlets of juniper trees, you will be trekking to Nangi. The views of the mountains are spectacular along the way and the deep river valley makes trekking a joy. You can see many terrace farms and vast lands of fields fed by the small tributary of the Kali Gandaki River. Overnight stay at Nangi.

  • Day 5 Nangi to Mohare Danda (3,300m). Walking 6-7 hrs.

    From Nangi, you will make your way to Mohare Danda today. Passing Deurali on the way, the trek leads you through forests of rhododendron. The Mohare Danda is a hilltop that presents the closest panoramic view of the Annapurna Mountains. From here, you can take in the majesty of the Annapurna peaks and its massif in all its glory. Overnight stay at Mohare Danda.

  • Day 6 Mohare Danda to Ghorepani (2,880m). Walking for 6 hrs.

    From Mohare Danda, you will be trekking through oak forests and beautiful rhododendron trees towards Ghorepani, a prominent village of the Gurung people. It is a famous stop for people who are trekking to Poon Hill. From Ghorepani, you can enjoy the views of the Machhapuchhre (6,997m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), and the Nilgiri Peaks along with the Annapurna Mountains. Overnight stay at Ghorepani.

  • Day 7 Ghorepani to Poonhill (3,193m) 1.5 hrs then trek to Tadapani| (2,630m) Walking 6-7 hrs.

    From Ghorepani, early in the morning, you will make your way towards the vantage point of Poon Hill for a spectacular panoramic view of the Annapurna Mountains including Annapurna I (8,091m), Machhapuchhre (6,997m), and plenty of other Himalayas. The sunrise view from Poon Hill is quite unforgettable. After spending time at Poon Hill, you will then trek towards Tadapani, journeying along with the forests. Overnight stay at Tadapani.

  • Day 8 Tadapani to Ghandruk (1,940m). Walking 3-4 hrs.

    Today, you can spend your time enjoying the lifestyle of the people at Tadapani before making your way towards another beautiful village- Ghandruk. Trekking through the rhododendron forests, you head to the second largest Gurung Village of Nepal. Ghandruk is not only a great viewpoint to observe the Annapurna Himalayas but is also known for its lavish display of Gurung culture. Participate in the local traditions and dances on your stay at Ghandruk. Overnight stay at Ghandruk.

  • Day 9 Ghandruk to Nayapul & drive to Pokhara. Walking for 4 hrs.

    From Ghandruk, you will go through the terrace farms and small pastures to Nayapul, a bustling little town that serves as a buffer overnight stay for many trekkers of the region. The trek descends all the way through small settlements and forested trails. A short drive from Nayapul will take you to Pokhara. Here, you can spend your time boating on Phewa Lake and enjoy the lively Lakeside. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

  • Day 10 Pokhara to Kathmandu by bus.

    From Nayapul, you will be traveling to Pokhara. Here, you can enjoy a last leisurely boat ride in the lake as well if you want. From Pokhara, you will be saying goodbye t the Annapurna Mountains one last time and making your way towards Kathmandu. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 11 Transfer to airport for your final departure from Nepal.

    Approximately three hours before your flight, you will be taken to the airport from where you will depart.
