Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)
Welcome to Nepal. Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax or explore the nearby areas of Kathmandu. In the evening, we will provide a short briefing about your trek. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara (820 m) – 6–7 hours drive
After breakfast, drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus or private vehicle. The scenic journey passes through rivers, green hills, villages and terraced farmland. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check in at your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening around Phewa Lake. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 3: Pokhara to Birethanti and trek to Ulleri (2,050 m) – 4–5 hours trek
After breakfast, drive from Pokhara to Birethanti, the starting point of the trek. From Birethanti, begin walking through beautiful villages, terraced farmland and forest trails. The trail gradually climbs toward Ulleri, with stone steps along the way. Overnight at a teahouse in Ulleri.
Day 4: Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,860 m) – 5–6 hours
Continue through beautiful rhododendron and oak forests with views of the surrounding hills and mountains. The trail gradually climbs toward Ghorepani, a beautiful mountain settlement and an important point on the Poon Hill route. Overnight at a teahouse in Ghorepani.
Day 5: Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3,210 m) and Tadapani (2,630 m) – 6–7 hours
Wake up early and hike to Poon Hill to enjoy a spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. After enjoying the panoramic Himalayan views, return to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue trekking through rhododendron forests toward Tadapani. Overnight at a teahouse in Tadapani.
Day 6: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2,170 m) – 5–6 hours
The trail descends through beautiful forest and continues through small settlements and terraced farmland. We then climb gradually toward Chhomrong, a traditional Gurung village offering magnificent views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). Overnight at a teahouse in Chhomrong.
Day 7: Chhomrong to Himalaya (2,920 m) – 6–7 hours
After breakfast, descend through stone steps to the Chhomrong Khola and cross the suspension bridge. The trail then climbs through forests toward Sinuwa, Bamboo and Dovan before reaching Himalaya. The landscape becomes increasingly dramatic as we move deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary. Overnight at a teahouse in Himalaya.
Day 8: Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700 m) – 6–7 hours
Today is the highlight of the trek. Continue through the mountain valley toward Machhapuchhre Base Camp. After a short rest, proceed toward Annapurna Base Camp. Enjoy spectacular views of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre and surrounding Himalayan peaks. Overnight at a teahouse in Annapurna Base Camp.
Day 9: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2,310 m) – 6–7 hours
Wake up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the Himalayan mountains. After breakfast, retrace the trail through Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Himalaya and Dovan before continuing downhill to Bamboo. Most of today's walking is downhill. Overnight at a teahouse in Bamboo.
Day 10: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1,780 m) – 5–6 hours
Continue trekking through the forest toward Sinuwa and Chhomrong. From Chhomrong, descend steep stone steps to Jhinu Danda. In the afternoon, relax at the natural hot springs beside the Modi Khola and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Overnight at a teahouse in Jhinu Danda.
Day 11: Jhinu Danda to Ghandruk and drive to Pokhara – 5–6 hours trek + drive
After breakfast, continue toward Ghandruk, one of the most beautiful traditional Gurung villages in the Annapurna region. Enjoy the village atmosphere, mountain scenery and local culture before meeting the vehicle. From Ghandruk, drive to Pokhara. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 12: Pokhara to Kathmandu – 6–7 hours drive
After breakfast, drive from Pokhara back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy your remaining free time in Kathmandu. You may explore Thamel, visit nearby cultural attractions or do some last-minute shopping. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 13: International Departure
After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport according to your flight schedule for your onward international journey. Your Ghorepani Poon Hill and Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Manikang Nepal Treks ends with unforgettable memories of Nepal.
