The Ghorepani Poon Hill & Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a carefully designed 13-day journey combining the spectacular sunrise of Poon Hill with the unforgettable experience of reaching Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 metres.

Manikang Nepal Treks begins the walking journey from Birethanti rather than driving directly to the higher villages. This allows our guests to experience the changing landscape, traditional villages, terraced fields, forests and mountain environment gradually on foot.

The journey continues through Ulleri and Ghorepani to Poon Hill, where trekkers can enjoy magnificent sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. From Tadapani and Chhomrong, the trail then moves deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary through beautiful forests and dramatic mountain valleys.

The trek reaches Machhapuchhre Base Camp and finally Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 metres, surrounded by some of the most impressive Himalayan scenery in Nepal.

The return journey descends through Bamboo and Jhinu Danda, with an opportunity to relax at the natural hot springs, before visiting the traditional Gurung village of Ghandruk and returning to Pokhara.

This itinerary is designed to combine Himalayan scenery, local culture, gradual altitude gain and a memorable trekking experience in one complete Annapurna adventure.
